Napoli are all set to meet with the agent of Dominik Szoboszlai to try and beat AC Milan in the race to sign him, a report claims.
Szoboszlai is the player who has generated the most speculation with regards to the Rossoneri’s possible summer recruits under probable new manager Ralf Rangnick.
SportMediaset claimed on Monday that the Rossoneri are ‘very close’ to signing the Hungary international at the request of Rangnick in what is a blow to Arsenal and PSG.
However, Sky Italia are now reporting that Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis is beginning to plan a summer shopping campaign and Szoboszlai is on the wish list.
The Partenopei are ready to pay the €25m release clause and they have scheduled a meeting with the player’s agent for this week.
Szoboszlai is also being followed by Milan who at the moment however are more in the background. Napoli are now on pole and the Hungarian would replace Allan, who is attracting a lot of interest from Carlo Ancelotti and Everton.
