Sky: Pioli opts for Kjaer rather than Musacchio; defence remains intact against Brescia

By Isak Möller -

Following the dramatic 3-2 win against Udinese last weekend, AC Milan will take on Brescia away from home this evening. Hopefully, they can secure their fourth consecutive wins in all competitions.

As reported by Sky Italia (via MilanNews.it), despite the rumours that surfaced a few days ago, Simon Kjaer will keep his spot in defence alongside Alessio Romagnoli. In other words, Mateo Musacchio won’t play the game from start.

Subsequently, the defence will remain intact as no changes will be made in that department. The Danish international has done well since his arrival this month and it’s no surprise that Pioli continues to use the former Atalanta man.

As mentioned, the Rossoneri could grab their fourth consecutive win in all competitions. After a very slow start, therefore, Milan are finally on the right track – or at least so it seems. The pressure remains, though, as they can’t afford to lose any points.
