Sky: Probable Milan XI for trip to Napoli – duo recover from injury but one change is forced

By Oliver Fisher -

There are expected to be no surprises regarding the starting XI that will take to the field on Sunday for AC Milan’s game against Napoli.

Both Sky Italia and SportMediaset (via MilanLive) are in agreement regarding what the line-up should be for the Rossoneri, who will be led out by Daniele Bonera given that Stefano Pioli and his assistant Giacomo Murelli are both COVID-positive.

The back four will consist of the usual Davide Calabria, Simon Kjaer, Alessio Romagnoli (who has now recovered from his flexor problem) and Theo Hernandez .

In midfield, it will be the immovable pairing of Franck Kessie and Ismael Bennacer, with Alexis Saelemaekers (also back available), Hakan Calhanoglu and Ante Rebic in behind Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

It is a forced change on the left for Milan as Rafael Leao sustained an injury on international duty and is expected to miss the game.

Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Donnarumma; Calabria, Kjaer, Romagnoli, Theo Hernandez; Kessie, Bennacer; Saelemaekers, Calhanoglu, Rebic; Ibrahimovic.
