Some indications have arisen regarding the starting line-up that AC Milan head coach Stefano Pioli should field for the Supercoppa Italiana clash against Inter, a report claims.
According to the latest from Sky (as seen below), Ciprian Tatarusanu should be given the nod to start in goal while Mike Maignan’s recovery continues, while Davide Calabria, Fikayo Tomori and Theo Hernandez remain in the back four. A change is expected though, with Simon Kjaer tipped to come in for Pierre Kalulu, who struggled in the 2-2 draw with Lecce.
The midfield double pivot of Ismael Bennacer and Sandro Tonali should be reunited after the latter missed the Lecce game due to suspension, with Brahim Diaz currently favoured as the attacking midfielder.
Alexis Saelemaekers and Rafael Leao are expected to be the right and left wingers respectively, with previous derby hero Olivier Giroud unsurprisingly down to lead the line.
Probable Milan XI (4-2-3-1): Tatarusanu; Calabria, Kjaer, Tomori, Theo Hernandez; Bennacer, Tonali; Saelemaekers, Brahim Diaz, Leao; Giroud.
Thank goodness, we need some stability, getting the real starting XI together will be vital for the next few weeks.
Yes stability needed ..the supercup ..We can win it .
It will be a marvellous achievement..Olivier Giroud will be a hero again …Win this game and confidence will be on a high ..At least Rebic and Diaz are available ,so that’s another good piece of news ..
