As reported by Sky Italia last night, the future has already been decided for at least six AC Milan players, all of which will depart during this summer’s transfer window.
The players in question are Abate, Zapata, Montolivo, Bertolacci and Jose Mauri. All of them are sitting on expiring contracts, and Milan have no intention of offering them contract renewals.
In addition to these five, it’s now clear that Bakayoko will return to Chelsea as his loan spell with the Rossoneri ends in June. Even though this was expected, the failure to qualify for Champions League certainly confirmed the decision.
Sky Italia are also reporting that, as a result of missing out on UCL, a total of 7-8 players could leave the club if not more. Of course, they would all be replaced, but most likely not by any big profiled.
