SM: AC Milan considering sacking Gattuso after five-match winless run

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are reportedly considering the future of coach Gennaro Gattuso given the team’s recent struggles.

The Rossoneri were held to a 0-0 draw by Frosinone on Wednesday afternoon, extending the winless run to five games.

During this run Milan were unceremoniously dumped out of the Europa League with a calamitous result against Olympiacos, and the team has not scored a goal in 379 minutes in Serie A.

According to Vito Angelè of Spazio Milan, the club’s board are considering Gattuso’s future due to the bad run and the need to secure Champions League football for next season.

Saturday’s game against SPAL is the last one before the break and could prove decisive for Rino, as a bad performance/result would allow the club to instate a new manager in time for the break.
