It’s no secret that AC Milan are looking for a new centre-back on the transfer market, as Musacchio just isn’t cutting it alongside Romagnoli. The Rossoneri have identified Barcelona’s Todibo as their first choice.
As we reported back on December 30th, Milan already have an agreement with Barcelona for the defender. They have offered a loan with an option to buy at €20m which, at least for the moment, far exceeds that of the two German clubs interested.
Therefore, the ball is in the player’s court to make a decision on the move, as his ‘ok’ is the only thing missing. Currently, the Rossoneri’s sporting director Ricky Massara is in Spain to try and convince the defender to accept the offer.
In other words, should the meeting go well, then Todibo will be Milan’s next signing this transfer window, following the arrival of Ibrahimovic. As always, we will keep you updated with the latest news.
