There is good news from Milanello this afternoon regarding the condition of Olivier Giroud in view of Saturday’s match against Roma.
It was reported yesterday that Giroud had done individual work in order to manage his workload ahead of the game at the Stadio Olimpico after he sustained some calf/Achilles discomfort following a strong clash with Kim in the Champions League quarter-finals.
According to our colleagues at SempreMilan.it, the Frenchman trained with the rest of his team-mates at Milanello today and therefore he will be ready for game against Roma in the capital.
It marks a very important return for Milan, who will once again lean on the experience of the 36-year-old and his knack for scoring in the biggest occasions.
He played through the pain at the Stadio Maradona in the second leg against Napoli, managing to get on the end of Rafael Leao’s cut-back to score the goal that ended up securing progress to the final four.
