SM: Ibrahimovic marks return to full training with brace in practice match

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic was part of the full training session at Milanello today with the rest of the squad and the signs from the practice game were encouraging.

There is no doubting that a jolt us needed to wake up some Milan players and some help would also be required to get them out of a very difficult patch of form mentally, which could come from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it report, the Swedish striker did a full session with the rest of the squad today as the team trained at Milanello in view of Friday’s game against Torino, with indications suggesting that he could soon return to the field.

The 41-year-old scored a brace in a practice match and now looks like getting a potential call-up for the match against the Granata in a few days. If everything continues positively, Pioli could decide to reward Ibra by naming him on the bench, and then we will see if he opts to used him for what would be the first time in eight months.

    1. Because you don’t know what this 41year old can do cannot be repeated by 20/30years old players.
Learn to respect Zlatan first then you can talk about football.

      1. Oh OK 👍.
Semi retired player who is 42 and BTW is coming back of off a major surgery, hasn’t played in almost a year scoring a brace in his 1st team team training says more about our defense than about Zlatan.
We didn’t play vs Inter with 8 defenders, with a parked bus like cowards for no reason .
But yeah let’s not forget about respecting Zlatan

    1. I agree completely with you, I hope its the target for extending his contract and less salary agreed

I can’t imagine football without Zlatan, he should be coach atleast not a manager I want to see. Its useless we can’t see him every 3days in pressmeets, match day etc.,

  1. Just watch ibra save us again and idiots chant pioli is on fire hahaha, Pioli sucks, always has. Without ibra coming in we never would have made that run

    1. To be fair, Pioli clearly stated in presscon that he had a discussion with Zlatan in regard to the inclusion / exclusion of him from the CL squad.

    2. Zlatan himself who asked not to be included in Champions League after had a discussion with Pioli and Maldini.

You and some people in here needs to start learn how to control your emotion. Stop being emotional like a 5 years old kid.

  2. We need ALL the help we can get. We don’t get it from our owner that’s obvious. Hopefully we can get help internally including this Zlatan’s come back.
