Stefano Pioli is not expected to call-up Rafael Leao for tomorrow’s game against Spezia but he should be back for the second leg against Inter.
As our colleagues at SempreMilan.it report, there was a training session for the Milan squad at Milanello today as the squad continue preparing for the match against Spezia in the league tomorrow, plus of course the second leg against Inter.

The main news it that Leao continued with his therapy after sustaining an adductor problem against Lazio last weekend, so he worked individually – as he did yesterday – following missing Wednesday’s Champions League match.
Pioli’s plan is not to risk the Portuguese forward against Spezia, because he wants him to be fully recovered and at 100% in condition for the game next Tuesday night, while also not wanting to run even the 1% risk of potentially worsening the problem. Divock Origi is tipped to take his place on the left.

This Spezia game will be Horrible
God help us…
against Spezia:
calabria – kjaer – tomori – theo
tonali – pobega
Diaz – CDK – Origi
Giroud
subs:
tonali/pobega -> vranckx (last 30 min)
giroud -> rebic (last 20 min)
origi -> leao (last 20 min)
if we have a good result after 60-70 min
theo->balo toure
One does not get from training individually to fully recovered in a matter of days. He’ll probably be on the bench against inter.
RL17: not in risk
UCL spot: in risk..
