There have been positive talks between AC Milan and the agent of Hakan Calhanoglu over a new deal, we have learned.
According to our market correspondent Pietro Balzano Prota, there was a positive meeting today between the Milan management and the agent of Calhanoglu, Gordon Stipic.
The distances between the parties are being closed, and the common desire is to find a meeting point, for which a new appointment will follow.
It seems as though the two parties are on the right path therefore, and any grave worries about the potential departure of the Turkish international on a free transfer can be put to rest for a while.
Calhanoglu has amassed a combined 15 goals and assists in 24 games for the Rossoneri across all competitions so far this season, but there has been worry among fans over the past few weeks as the negotiation regarding a new deal has been dragging on for some time now.
