AC Milan are not expected to buy a new striker until at least one of Ante Rebic and Divock Origi have been sold this summer, a report claims.
As has been reported by SempreMilan.it journalist Luca Maninetti on Twitter, there need to be outgoings at Milan before they pull the trigger on one of their many attacking targets.
It has been no secret at all that Milan want to sell both Rebic and Origi this summer as the duo offered little in 2022/23 and better players could be available.
The real issue that Milan need to address is that Olivier Giroud currently has no real competition for his place, and he physically cannot play every game given he is in his late 30s.
A player like Hugo Eketike has been linked from PSG, but without the sale of at least one of Rebic and Origi, little movement is expected from the Rossoneri.
We could sell CDK to fund this operation if he agreed to leave. Got a feeling our only hope is Rebic because Origi ain’t going anywhere.
Problem with Rebic also seems to be that he fell out of favor if true.
Origi bothers me the least to be honest, in a 4-3-3 he can back up all 3 attacking positions and while clearly not a starter he at least has some surprise goals in him.
CDK adds almost nothing and binds most capital, he is a must sell imo.
So basically we’re not getting a striker this season. Don’t see anyone purchasing either Rebic nor Origi, and neither want to earn less money at another league. Have a feeling that we’re going to lean on Colombo this season.

Rebic cannot work together with pioli anymore , pioli exclude rebic in last 2-3 match serie A. The problem are rebic got 3,5m euro nett salary and he still have 2 years contract, he can reject all club suitor that offer him below his salary now , just loan him to whatever club he want until his contract expire and hoping some club buy him at the end of season . For origi 4m euro nett, ACM can only hoping EPL club or saudi club come to buy him
