SM: Romagnoli will miss out on Milan’s clash against Bologna – the reason

By Isak Möller -

Alessio Romagnoli will not be available for the game against Bologna this evening, further cementing Pierre Kalulu’s spot in the starting XI. The reason behind the captain’s absence has now been revealed.

Stefano Pioli will have to make do without Romagnoli as the defender is suffering from inflammation of the left adductor, as confirmed to SempreMilan. He wasn’t expected to start anyway but this obviously means the depth has been compromised.

Matteo Gabbia is, therefore, the only centre-back available on the bench but hopefully Pioli won’t have to sub any of his star defenders. Tomori and Kalulu have impressed everyone lately they’re a big reason behind the recent success.

Tonight’s game is scheduled for 20:45 CEST and since both Napoli and Inter won yesterday, Milan need to come away with all three points. 70k will be at San Siro to cheer them on, making for a good atmosphere.
