Source claims Rangnick is already analysing Milan games and transfer targets ahead of arrival

By Oliver Fisher -

Ralf Rangnick is apparently already trying to get to grips with the current situation at AC Milan ahead of his arrival at the club once the season is over.

A number of different outlets are claiming that the German has agreed a deal to take over as head coach and sporting director ahead of next season, something which caused Zvonimir Boban to hit out at CEO Ivan Gazidis over a lack of communication, costing the former his job.

Currently, Rangnick holds the role as the Head of Football for Red Bull’s vast sporting empire, meaning he controls the recruitment of two upcoming European giants in RB Leipzig and Red Bull Salzburg.

Despite the fact he recently denied Boban’s statement claiming he agreed a deal in December, it is still being widely reported that Rangnick is the chosen one.

Now, Alessandro Jacobone of Radio Rossonera and Sportitalia has passed on some information he has received, which is as follows:

“He [Rangnick] has been watching AC Milan games on TV for 3 months and after every game writing a report.

“He’s already working to figure out who to keep and who to sell in the summer. He can’t come now. He will be coming at the end of the season.

“He is doing an Italian course with two private lessons a week to arrive prepared and master of the situation even at the lexical level.”
