Tijjani Reijnders

Source claims Reijnders to Milan is imminent with team-mates informed

AC Milan are closing in on a move for Tijjani Reijnders as he could leave AZ Alkmaar’s training camp and depart for Italy very soon, a report claims.

According to what is being reported by the AZ Alkmaar insider account AZAlters, Reijnders’ transfer to Milan is almost complete. If the last wrinkles are ironed out and Reijnders passes the medical examination, he will quickly become a Rossoneri player.

Reijnders is expected to travel to Milan in the coming days to officially sign with the club. For now the 24-year-old is currently still with the AZ preseason camp and is waiting for all formalities to be completed.

However, he has informed his team-mates that a move to Milan is on the cards with the management hoping to get the deal across the line so he can join the squad for their preseason tour of the USA, with departure in eight days.

  1. While I was upset about Tonali leaving, this may have been for the better. This team is reinforcing in just about every possible way quickly.

          1. It baffles me why we aren’t showing interest in wahi because he matches every criteria of a ST we need and according to L’Equipe Montpellier only want 30M euros

          2. We’d have to find an EU Striker. I still think we will sign Chukwueze but later on. Isaksen is cheap but I think management is hesitating on him. Maybe we can sign both. Chukwueze isn’t 35 million as he’s in his last year of his contract, so Villarreal should come down.

          3. Agreed giancarlo, I think 30M will settle it and if we spend another 30M for Wahi I would be ecstatic with our attack

  2. It is difficult to predict which transfer will be a real reinforcement and which will not. Last year I expected a lot from CDK. However, changing the team and the whole theory of football between the Belgian and Italian leagues was too much for him! If someone asked me, I would give him one more season, but if we can get those 28 million for him, let’s go! The Dutchman has good statistics, but he will need some time to adapt and a little luck of course! Forza Milan.

    1. I think it was a tactical adjustment and unfamiliarity. I would hope management would give CDK another season to prove himself, but I do understand why they want to sell now.

    2. Enough of CDK, the guy is below average. When Milan purchase him, I said CDK won’t make a difference in Milan, some said he’s fast in CL, but now its oblivious for some to see. I just hope Aston Villa come and take him off Milan’s hand. What Milan need right now is explosive players like Elye Wahi, Jeremy Doku, Chikwueze or Barcola !!!

      1. Elye Wahi with Chukwueze as signings is the absolute ideal I couldn’t imagine how dangerous our attack would be and fast it could become from all sides

    1. Every young player needs time to develop some longer than others. To be fair to CDK or any young player for that matter you need a few years to acclimate to a new league, culture, language and system. Kalulu adapted faster – but he sat for the first 6 months and learned the position without any pressure. However he too struggled this season when more was expected of him. Tonali was poor with us his first season then blossomed. Will CDK? Who knows. That is the issue when you buy all young players. He could become a star or be a bust. Time will tell. I would be hesitant to write him off and say he’s trash just yet. But I also get this semi-new management wants to make it seem all of the previous M&M were trash because if they do well they will not get credit for them – which is ironic because they are certainly ok with keeping Thiaw and Moncada was the scout who suggested they purchase those players. We will see what happens but reports now are that CDK doesn’t want to leave (like Origi) and wants the opportunity to prove himself at Milan. So we will see.

  5. Yes incredible news …the changes are coming quickly with some very positive signings..
I can’t wait to see Loftus cheek and pulisic teaming up with Olivier Giroud…Also with Rafeol leao alongside him ,Giroud will have best season ever even at 37 years of age …yes leave Olivier Giroud inside the 18 yard area ,,,He is such a talent and for a big man ,so physicaly strong ,such high technical skill ,and knows exactly where to be at the right time ..
Yes if I sound excited then yes I am .
This AC Milan team will be a force to be reckoned with this season ..
