In the pre-match press conference ahead of Roma’s crucial game against Juventus, Roma coach Luciano Spalletti revealed the situation surrounding the transfer of Milan winger Stephan El Shaarawy.
“He has quality and technique, and knows how to score. We talked and I liked it; he does not have time to make mistakes, especially in the view of the National Team, and he will fight for his place”.
El Shaarawy has been linked with a move to the capital since it was rumoured Monaco were looking to offload the attacker rather than exercise their right to purchase.
It seems like Roma is the preferred destination of the Pharaoh too, and a deal could be accelerated in the last days of the mercato to make sure Milan can replace him in the squad.
