AC Milan are ready to make a new offer for Tijjani Reijnders, a report claims, and the details of the bid have emerged.
Sportitalia reports that there has been a ‘substantial step forward’ by Milan in the race for Reijnders. AZ Alkmaar rejected the first offer from the Rossoneri and insisted that they will not sell unless their €25m asking price is met.
The Milan management spoke with their Dutch counterparts yesterday evening expressed their willingness to increase their offer to get closer to the request of the Eredivisie side.
Milan are willing to pay €19m as the fixed part plus €3m in easy-to-reach bonuses and a further €2m in bonuses that are more difficult to achieve.
The total would reach €24m euros, thus putting the gap between offer and demand at just €1m. Now, we must wait for signals regarding whether the latest attempt is enough to get the signing over the line.
