Sportitalia: Milan to present improved offer to AZ Alkmaar for Reijnders

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are accelerating to try and close the signing of Tijjani Reijnders and they have a new and improved offer ready, a report claims.

According to the latest from Sportitalia, Milan were ‘called upon’ to push down on the accelerator pedal to try and close the signing of Reijnders before the start of preseason and they have answered the call.

The direct contacts between the clubs in the last few hours have hinted at the Rossoneri’s willingness to present an increased proposal compared to the last one, which was €19m including bonuses.

The Rossoneri management will raise their offer to €21m including bonuses, thus approaching the request of AZ Alkmaar which is €25m.

The ball passes to the Eredivisie club once the proposal has been made official, while the player has already verbally agreed personal terms.

The temperature of this deal is heating up as per the report, and some teams in the Premier League are watching with interest without having yet presented any formal proposal.

  1. Should do. We seem to upping our game a bit in the market. Actually going back and improving offers. He’s not going to Bayern.

    1. He win award best player for his club AZ Alkmar . One of the best midfielder in eredivisie. Tonali value 50m euro but AC Milan sell him 70m euro + 10m euro + 10% resale value thats already over value too

  2. This money would be much better spent on Musah, who has a far bigger upside. I don’t understand Milan’s fascination with this guy. Is he that good? I haven’t really seen him play but it’s a second rate league.
