Spurs ready to launch opening bid for €32m-rated Poland international – report

Tottenham Hotspur are preparing their opening bid for AC Milan striker Krzysztof Piatek, according to transfer source Louis Girardi.

The Pole faces an uncertain future with the Rossoneri, having lost his spot in the starting line-up due to Rafael Leao and Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s impressive showings.

MilanNews.it‘s Anto Vitiello reported last week that Tottenham have concrete interest in Piatek, with Aston Villa, West Ham and Bayer Leverkusen also keen. The same outlet then added that the Rossoneri are asking for €28-30million and a permanent transfer only.

Nicolo Schira of La Gazzetta dello Sport added on Sunday that Spurs have called on the help of intermediary Frank Trimboli to help them open talks and strike a deal.

According to Louis Girardi on Twitter, the wheels are in motion for the north London club, who are set to place their first official bid for the 24-year-old.

He claims that it will take at least €32million for the Rossoneri to part with Piatek.
