Rafael Leao is expected to make his 250th appearances for AC Milan tomorrow and as highlighted by a stat, he’s undoubtedly one of the best attackers in Serie A.
While there have been ups and downs in the last couple of seasons for Milan’s No.10, there is no denying his abilities on a good day. Against Lecce last time out, he came off the bench and provided two assists, helping Milan come back from 2-0 behind to 3-2 up.
Tomorrow’s clash against Como, as highlighted by Serie A’s stat package for the game, should be Leao’s 250th appearance for the Rossoneri in all competitions. It’s a huge milestone for a player who, despite attracting interest from some big clubs, has always decided to stay at the club.
Furthermore, as Serie A highlights, only one player has scored at least 50 goals and provided at least 50 assists in all competitions since Leao’s debut in 2019-20. Yes, you guessed it, Leao! The winger currently has 68 goals and 50 assists, which is very impressive indeed.
It’s believed that he will play from the first minute tomorrow and it remains to be seen if he can be decisive immediately. Off the bench, he has usually done very well but it’s not been the same from start, so it’s something he has to change.
