AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tatarusanu quickly shifted focus to Serie A and the Europa League after his side’s Coppa Italia exit against Inter.
Refereeing controversy was once again the story of the night as a Romelu Lukaku penalty and a Christian Eriksen free-kick were enough to send Inter into the semi-finals after Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s opener, with the Swede later being sent off.
Speaking on Milan TV, Tatarusanu dissected the defeat against Inter and discussed the rest of the objectives for the season.
“Too bad for the result and for the goal that arrived at the end but the performance was made of intensity and desire to win,” he said (via MilanNews).
On his performance: “I try to be ready. I’m a professional and I try to do my best every day.
“Now we are focused on the league and the Europa League. There are important matches that we have to win and face with this intensity.”
