AC Milan have a plan in mind to secure the long-term future of defender Theo Hernandez, according to a report this morning.
After a fantastic first two seasons at the club, Theo Hernandez has certainly started the 2021-22 season in the right way and in particular the year of 2022, with 2 goals and 2 assists in 3 games between league and cup. The general consensus is that the Frenchman has improved his all-round game but his room for growth is still wide, on and off the ball but also in the attacking and defensive phase.

According to this morning’s edition of il Corriere dello Sport (via MilanNews), the management are determined to lock Theo down to a new contract and put a wall up to the potential advances of some top European clusb.
The agreement is practically one step away as per the newspaper, and the 23-year-old – who currently earns €1.5m net per season – will have his salary tripled. The duration of the contract will be extended for two additional seasons, from 2024 to 2026.
