AC Milan will get their season back underway tomorrow afternoon against Salernitana and they are hoping Theo Hernandez and Olivier Giroud can transform their anger into positive energy.
The pair returned to Milanello after defeat in the World Cup final against Argentina and now they must get back to focusing on club football. Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report that both will be starters for the game against Salernitana tomorrow.
The presence of the full-back from the first minute was never in doubt, while a little more caution could have been used with the 36-year-old centre-forward, but the injuries to Divock Origi and Ante Rebic changed the plans of Stefano Pioli who will therefore be ‘forced’ to employ him too immediately.
As for the rest of the Rossoneri line-up, Calabria will be on the right of the defence together with the Kalulu-Tomori centre-back pairing and Theo on the left. Bennacer and Tonali will be the midfield duo, while behind Giroud the trident should be Saelemaekers, Diaz and Leao.
