AC Milan and Theo Hernandez are ready to continue together as the full-back has snubbed interest from abroad to renew his contract, a report claims.
According to Calciomercato.com, the full-back has kept his word to the club with whom he shares great affection and the renewal of the contract is done, with only the official announcement missing that should arrive before the end of the current week.
Both Chelsea and PSG came forward with ‘very attractive proposals’ both from an economic and technical point of view recently, but the former Real Madrid man decided not to entertain them and instead to commit his future to the Rossoneri.
It is both a sign of strength for the club that they have finally been able to extend the contract of a key asset and it is also an indication of their new proactive stance on renewals, especially given Bennacer and Leao are also very close to extending their respective contracts too.
Theo is already a top player in the role of left-back and wants to grow further. A five-year deal at €4m net per season plus bonuses (which is therefore €20m net) is the agreement, so Milan fans can sleep easily.

Let’s compare Dollarumma and Theo! Someone who Milan made him, goes to PSG for free! And the other one who played for Real Madrid, turn down PSG! That’s the difference!
Theo is a grown-up man. He doesn’t put at risk what AC Milan did for him. He appreciates the club trusted him and made him who he is now — the Cannonball Theo who plays for France national team. And he is a fan of Maldini. It is an honor for him to spot the same position.
Whilst Gigi literally betrayed everything and everyone. Without AC Milan he would probably never play for the National team. And probably never in Serie A considering he had regular practice at the top level since he was 15 that made him a top-level keeper.

I hope that’s true. But let’s wait until the official announcement. Maldini and Massara are from the old school. Probably they are too naïve and trust ‘gentleman’ agreements. Maybe that’s the reason they didn’t predict Gigi, Hakan, and Kessie cases.
