CM: Theo Hernandez a precious resource for Milan – Maldini’s plan to avert PSG and Man City

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are very happy with the way Theo Hernandez has developed since his arrival and they are planning to try and ward off interest from some top clubs.

Theo came on with 31 minutes remaining in the game against Venezia and the score at 0-0. He set up the first goal with a lovely volleyed pass back across goal to Brahim Diaz, and then scored the second after being set up by another substitute in Alexis Saelemaekers.

A Milan defender has not registered both a goal and an assist in the same game since Cosmin Contra, back in 2002 and also against Venezia, ironically. Contra scored a goal and gave Javi Moreno an assist, who is also Spanish like Brahim.

According to Calciomercato.com, the Milan management are working to tie him down for an even lPaolo Maldini wants to triple his current €1.5m net per season salary to avert the eyes of Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester City, who are watching on but from afar for the time being.
