Romano: Theo Hernandez said no to PSG and ‘only wanted to stay’ at Milan – renewal imminent

By Oliver Fisher -

Theo Hernandez rejected the idea of a move to Paris Saint-Germain because the only thing in his mind was to stay at AC Milan and grow, a report claims.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Theo was on Paris Saint-Germain’s wish list one year ago before they ended up signing Nuno Mendes deal from Sporting CP, and it is implied that they made an approach to sign the Frenchman, but Theo ‘only wanted to stay’ with Milan.

Romano adds that the Rossoneri will announce his contract extension in the coming days, as the parties have agreed a new five-year deal which has been completed. It seems to have worked out for all parties though as PSG are ‘now more than happy’ with Nuno Mendes.

Theo got himself another assist during the win over Lazio in the Coppa Italia last night as he continues to establish himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in Europe.
