Tuttosport: Theo Hernandez returns and hopes to lead Milan on redemption mission

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have no time to dwell on their defeat to Chelsea in the Champions League as they will face Juventus tomorrow, with a big injury boost having arrived.

Tuttosport (via MilanNews) report how Stefano Pioli will be able to rely on Theo Hernandez, who celebrated his birthday yesterday and also his return to the squad having been out with a muscle problem.

He trained with the rest of the squad having been out since he suffered a problem towards the end of Milan-Napoli before the international break, and his return is like a breath of fresh air for Pioli given his qualities and his tactical importance.

Fode Ballo-Toure continues to offer shaky performances while filling in and then there is the chemistry that the Frenchman has with Rafael Leao, something that makes Milan’s starting line-up look much more dangerous in view of Juve’s visit but also the return game against Chelsea.

  1. I feel Theo is more important for Milan than Leao. So to have him back feels great. I wish he could impose some of his killer instinct to De Keatelaere so he could show a bit more spirit.
