Theo Hernandez sends message to PSG in reflection on time with the Rossoneri: “I feel very good at Milan”

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan defender Theo Hernandez has stressed that he is happy at the club amid rumours of interest from Paris Saint-Germain.

In his second season with the Milan shirt Theo had a few more ups and downs, but once again the Frenchman was one of the absolute protagonists of a Rossoneri who finished second in the league and that finally returned to qualify for the Champions League.

Calciomercato.com recently wrote how under Stefano Pioli he is showing a technical and tactical growth and between the two there is a strong bond that goes beyond the on-field dynamics. Big European clubs are interested, including PSG who like Theo a lot and have reignited their interest after the failed attempt last summer, but Milan have not yet received any official offer from the French club.

Interviewed by L’Officiel Arabia – a fashion magazine in the Middle East – the former Real Madrid man assessed his future, with his comments relayed by MilanNews and translated below.

“I feel very good at Milan. The atmosphere, the matches, the fans, everything is really incredible. We’ll see what tomorrow will bring. From a personal point of view, I have several projects underway. I am very happy with my life,” he said.

Theo joined Milan in the summer of 2019 and found the start to his career at the club difficult due to an ankle injury he sustained in the International Champions Cup against Bayern Munich.

“Milan, I injured my ankle in a friendly match against Bayern Munich. Due to the injury, I was forced to sit still for some time. It was a hard blow to me, but thanks to my family and friends. fans I was able to face this situation.”

Theo also commented on how the last year has been heavily influenced by the emergency caused by Covid-19

“The fact that it was something unknown and new was really scary. For the world of sport, the most obviously big was the relationship with the fans. I really miss not being able to meet them or see them at the stadium during the matches.

“The pandemic is a serious matter, but I am convinced that we will find a way out to ensure that it disappears and that everything can go back as before. This is my most important wish at the moment.”
