Thiago Silva: “A Milan return? I left the door open…”

Thiago Silva has admitted the door is thoroughly open for a possible AC Milan return in the future.

Prior to signing a new deal with Paris Saint-Germain, the Brazilian was touted with a possible Serie A return, with the Rossoneri and Juventus linked.

Despite putting pen to paper on the new contract to keep him in France, the 32-year-old is not ruling out a possible Milan reunion.

“AC Milan? I left the door open,” he began.

“I still have friends there. The other day I spoke Gattuso on his birthday.

“I always look to stay close to Milan because it was an important club to me.

“Leonardo was important, Berlusconi and Galliani have launched my career. I have to thank them.”
