While the majority of speculation regarding the summer window under Investcorp is about signings, there will also be some exits to make room for additions.
According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), there will be several players who will leave Milan ahead of next season as Investcorp – who are in advanced talks to buy the club – look to ‘streamline’ the squad ahead of a new era.
The paper reports that winger Junior Messias and midfielder Tiemoue Bakayoko are almost certain to depart in the summer. They have had disappointing seasons and will return to Crotone and Chelsea respectively ahead of the 2022-23 season.
It is a similar speech story for Samu Castillejo who is a permanent Milan player but his contract will expire in 2023 and it is certain that the management will look to sell him on for an agreeable price, thus generating more funds for the market.
