Tuttosport: Three options on the table for Ibrahimovic as new hypothesis emerges

A new potential avenue for Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s future has emerged and it would involve leaving AC Milan, a report claims.

As reported by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), a suggestion linked to the future of Ibrahimovic is gaining steam and it involves leaving the playing side of football altogether and joining Mino Raiola’s agency after the death of the agent last week.

As the Turin-based newspaper writes, if the 40-year-old decides to retire at the end of the season, he could also play a leading role within ‘One’ – the agency that Mino bequeathed to his cousin Vincenzo and to the lawyer Rafaela Pimenta – thus going down the path of becoming a player representative.

It would certainly be a radical change that Ibrahimovic could accept in light of the very close relationship with Mino, a great friend and advisor to him during his career. The main alternative for Zlatan remains to hold a managerial role within Milan, which not only Maldini but also Investcorp would like very much.

  1. I’d love to have him at Milan, he would be great influence on young players and could probably make a few players join Milan just based on him.

    1. Agree. And he could be one of club’s symbol for his passion and never give up hard work to make one of the best club.

  2. If he doesnt retire on his own, Milan management needs to step in and make the call. He is done. Its painful to watch. The only thing he can still do on the field is run. He cant do anything with his ball at his feet.
If they wanna keep him in some kind of management role, Fine, but he cant be on the field in a jersey next season

    1. I think his best days are over as well, but thanks to Ibra scored the winner against Lazio. I would ‘t be surprised if he plays a decisive role in the next matches and think it’s for the best of the entire squad that he’s available for these games. They will need his experience in the money time.

  3. Well as long as that running gives us assists and brilliant covering, I’m okay with that. His instincts alone justify another season without a doubt. We don’t need him as a full-time player. Just as an experienced sub who can come on to make the slightest change. You clearly don’t know the value of experience and instincts on the field. Otherwise, the eight goals and four assists he got without even playing barely this season, should be just dump luck in your opinion.
