TMW: Camarda deploying patient approach over future as Bayern come forward

By Oliver Fisher -

Francesco Camarda has not yet signed a professional contract with AC Milan despite turning 16 a few weeks ago, and updates continue to arrive regarding his future.

TMW write that despite having excellent relationships with the club – both personally and on the part of the entourage – Camarda intends to finish the season and then possibly understand what the plans for the future may be.

The question of an U23 team can also be included in this situation, because Milan will probably have one starting from next season, but considering the entry criteria (the same as last year for Atalanta, i.e. a non-repayable expense of €1.4m and a team dropping out of Serie C) the situation is still premature.

Bayern Munich are keen on Camarda, but a lot will depend on the plans that will be presented to him, also based on who will decide the next moves. It will therefore be a choice that will be taken calmly, and is unlikely to come before the summer.

CEO Giorgio Furlani gave a recent update on the situation linked to the 16-year-old, expressing optimism about things.

“Camarda is a boy who grew up in our youth sector, he has just turned 16 and we would like him to always remain with us, scoring many goals in the future with this shirt,” he said.

“He is a Rossoneri fan like me, I am convinced that he wants to remain in an important sporting project I want to point out that certain figures that have come out regarding hypothetical requests made are absolutely not correct, they are even offensive to the agents, to the boy and his family.”
