TMW: Decisive meeting imminent for De Ketelaere as Fulham remain in the race

By Oliver Fisher -

While Atalanta look to push ahead and complete a deal for Charles De Ketelaere, Fulham are waiting and hoping to pounce on any opening.

According to TMW, the deal between Milan and Atalanta for De Ketelaere could unblock itself today. Yesterday the two clubs reached an agreement on the basis of a €3m paid loan with a €23m option to buy.

The Rossoneri management decided that they were willing to not include a buy-back clause in their fielder and that accelerated things between the clubs, despite the recent emergence of Fulham who are in the race too.

The Belgian attacking midfielder and La Dea must definitively dissolve their reservations for the deal to be fully closed, but the Belgian seems more and more inclined towards accepting a move to Bergamo.

There will be another discussion between De Ketelaere and his agents today, at the end of which the green light could well arrive.

  1. new management looks like a newbie in football..
when you change the team too much
it is not quite good for the system of play

  2. Most of the base is still there and they reinforced where they needed. Now it’s too much lol. They reinforced the right side which people long complained about. But alas now it’s too much lol.

And last season our midfield was exposed more times than one can count. So it was only logical to make changes there. Seriously.
