TMW: Juventus targeting 30-year-old Milan man for Primavera as part of Donnarumma plan

By Oliver Fisher -

Juventus are not just targeting Gianluigi Donnarumma but also his older brother Antonio Donnarumma, according to a report.

As reported by TMW, the Bianconeri have a trick up their sleeve in their hopes of luring Gigio to Turin as they are targeting Antonio Donnarumma for the U23 squad, despite the fact that he is 30 years old.

Indeed, Gianluigi Donnarumma’s older brother in all likelihood will leave Milan on a free transfer in just over a month and could become a concrete goal for the Bianconeri. The ongoing contacts with Gigio could also favour negotiations with Antonio, as it could become the kind of ‘double swoop’ that saw Milan renew their academy product back in 2017.

As per Primavera rules, teams are allowed a maximum of four “non-quota” players, of which one has no age limit and the rest must be under 20 – which is why Antonio Donnarumma could join and would be allowed to play.

  1. típico de la Juventus, claro que no les interesa Antonio Donnarumma, lo hacen para atraer a Gigio y una vez que firme, van a relegar al “hermano incómodo”…
