In addition to signing a defensive midfielder, the Rossoneri are also looking to reinforce the attacking phase of their game. However, they will have to make some space before moving forward, a report claims.
The renewal of Zlatan Ibrahimovic has been the main topic in the last few weeks, but Milan obviously won’t stop there. As reported by TuttoMercatoWeb.com, they are looking for a centre-back and an attacking midfielder, among other things.
For the latter role, Aleksey Miranchuk is a very popular name on their wish list. The Lokomotiv Moscow star has a reasonable price tag but Milan need to sell Lucas Paqueta first. However, as the Brazilian hasn’t impressed, it will be hard to find a buyer.
Especially since the Rossoneri don’t want to make a capital loss, having signed him for €35m in January 2019. The road to Miranchuk, as the report continues, is thus uphill and it remains to be seen if Milan will make a move.
