TMW: Milan president meets Inter to discuss new stadium – the feelings are positive

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan president Paolo Scaroni visited Inter’s headquarters on Wednesday to discuss the new stadium project, according to a report.

Both Milan clubs have made their intentions known that they wish to build a new state-of-the-art stadium on the site of the current San Siro.

Recent indications over the past few weeks and months have suggested that most of the sticking points in talks with the Council have been addressed, and now it seems the attention has shifted to which project will win.

Italian firm Manica and American giants Populous are the two competing firms trying to land the project, and Tuttosport recently reported (via MilanLive) that a decision will have to be made soon on which design they choose.

According to reports from TMW, Paolo Scaroni – the president of Milan – went to the Inter headquarters on Wednesday morning for a meeting regarding the new stadium.

The two clubs talked about the developments concerning the facility: the feelings, as in the past, are positive from both clubs.
