TMW: Milan to announce Ibrahimovic signing in the coming days; Rodriguez to Napoli

By Oliver Fisher -

Zlatan Ibrahimovic will sign with AC Milan in the coming days, a journalist claims, despite reports suggesting otherwise.

The Swede is the Rossoneri’s primary target to reinforce the attack in January, but Leggo (via MilanNews.it) reported on Friday that Napoli are now leading in the race to land the 38-year-old.

According to Enzo Bucchioni for TMW though, the striker has already made up his mind and he will join Milan, with negotiations over the details of the contract currently ongoing.

The announcement should arrive in days, he adds, while Carlo Ancelotti’s sacking from Napoli has essentially rendered that a closed road as Aurelio De Laurentiis is not pursuing Ibrahimovic.

Instead, Ricardo Rodriguez could go from Milan to Naples. He was a constant fixture in the starting XI under Gattuso, but has been set aside by Stefano Pioli due to the recent for of Theo Hernandez.

He wants to play with continuity to make sure he is on the plane for the European Championships with Switzerland next year, and his dream would be to reunite with Gattuso.

Milan are ready for offers, starting with a request close to €15m so they have money to find his replacement.
