Todibo not called up for Barcelona’s game; AC Milan agreement imminent

By Isak Möller -

This evening, Barcelona revealed Jean-Clair Todibo hasn’t been called up for their game against Espanyol tomorrow evening. Of course, this sends a strong signal to the transfer market, as he has been linked with AC Milan.

As we reported back on December 30th, the Rossoneri already have an agreement with Barcelona for the defender. They have offered a loan with an option to buy at €20m which, at least for the moment, far exceeds that of the two German clubs interested.

Furthermore, their sporting director Ricky Massara arrived in Barcelona this evening, where he had dinner with Todibo (Sky Italia via MilanNews.it). Tomorrow, as the report continues, he will have a meeting with the defender’s agent.

Milan intend to close the deal as soon as possible. As the Spanish outlet AS adds, Todibo’s future will be at the San Siro, but the details of the operation are yet to be defined. Nevertheless, the clubs could soon announce an agreement.
