Tomori admits Milan are ‘not perfect’ but expresses excitement for opener – video

By Isak Möller -

AC Milan clinched another pre-season earlier this evening as they beat Vicenza by six goals one. Fikayo Tomori was one of the players that managed to get on the scoresheet and he’s now looking forward to the season opener.

It was more or less the Rossoneri’s final pre-season clash, as the one against Pergolettese likely will not be streamed and will be for the reserve players. That is, those that didn’t get the chance on the pitch tonight.

In any case, Milan did well against Vicenza despite conceding a goal after just 20 seconds. Tomori spoke to MilanTV after the game and he shared his thoughts on the season opener (scheduled for next weekend) as well as many other things.

“We’re excited about our first league game, hopefully we can start the season well. We have worked on set pieces, so I’m happy to have scored. It’s certainly something I want to improve upon this season (scoring). We know we’re not perfect, when there are mistakes we can improve,” he stated.
