Tonali sat next to Moncada at Newcastle vs. Milan Youth League game – photo

There is a special guest at Whitley Park where the UEFA Youth League match between Newcastle United and AC Milan is taking place, and it is Sandro Tonali.

Tonali is currently serving a ten-month ban after it emerged that he had placed bets on games involving his old club Milan, while he will also have an additional eight months of therapy too.

It is a difficult period for the Italian, who will also miss next year’s European Championships in Germany with his national team, as well as of course the rest of the Premier League season too.

According to what is being reported by MilanNews, the former Brescia midfielder is present in the stands at Newcastle’s youth ground for the game in the Youth League against the Rossoneri.

Not only that, but he is sitting close to Milan’s chief scout Geoffrey Moncada who no doubt had a hand in signing him back in the summer of 2020.

  1. Pioli spotted behind Moncada in Tonali’s ear “please come back Musah is a running back and Reijdners has less grinta than a palm tree”

    Really now?? 🤔

Maldini: “We spent a fifth of the public domain value for Sandro and had to have heated discussions with the CEO and owners: THE SCOUTING AREA DIDN’T EVEN WANT HIM.”
