AC Milan are beginning to think of on-loan midfielder Tommaso Pobega as a key part of the squad for next season, a report claims.
Having had loan spells with Pordenone in Serie B, Spezia in Serie A and now with Torino, Pobega has started a journey in stages which has a return to Milan as the final target. The 22-year-old midfielder has been able to adapt to different tactical situations under Ivan Juric this season and is showing himself to be a versatile and dependable player.
Calciomercato.com writes how his ideal role is that of a box-to-box midfielder in a 4-3-3, which gives him the freedom to get in dangerous areas and shoot, but has shown that he can successfully move to other positions such as behind the striker or in a double pivot in a 3-4-2-1.
He has 4 goals in 21 matches and has shown good strength and technique which is why Torino president Urbano Cairo wants to sign him from Milan permanently, given he arrived on a dry loan until the end of the season.
However, until today Paolo Maldini’s response has been clear: “He is our player and we are holding him tight.” Franck Kessie’s imminent farewell and doubts on Tiemoue Bakayoko are two factors that favour Pobega’s return to the Rossoneri, and this time he could play a leading role.

Well I think Bakayoko is great on the Playstation but his time has probably passed. Maybe continuity is what he needs and sadly we can’t offer him that so he should probably go back to Chelsea so Pobega can take his place. I hope Renato comes since Kessie is leaving. I know I’m getting ahead of myself but I’m kinda excited for next season. I hope Adli doesn’t take too long to adapt.
In summary I think we got a great midfield. Even Pioli’s darling Krunic does a decent job when called upon so I think it’s something to get excited about.
But I’m pretty sure that pobega gonna go to another team on loan, cos Milan has a Lot of CM Next season If Renato Sanches joining Milan. Milan Will have Tonali, Bennacer , Adli , Pobega ,pioli’s darling krunic and Renato sanches. And pobega gonna leave for another season On loan to give krunic some room to play. And it’s really hard to let krunic leave the team while pioli is the headcoach . TBH , pobega is more useful than krunic .but pioli prefers krunic over pobega . That’s the point.
