AC Milan striker Rafael Leao has cracked Transfermarkt’s list of the most valuable forwards in Europe under the age of 21.
Wednesday’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport noted that Leao was Milan’s most expensive summer signing, having paid €35million to sign him from from Lille.
Although the Portuguese starlet has lost his spot in the starting XI to Ante Rebic for the time being, all the reports are suggesting that the Rossoneri firmly believe in him and his development.
His ability is evidenced by his third-placed ranking on the list below with a market value of €22m, coming below only Dortmund’s Erling Haaland and Everton’s Moise Kean for this particular category.
Among the other big names on the list are Manchester United academy product Mason Greenwood and Arsenal’s young star Gabriel Martinelli, whom Leao is apparently worth €2m and €4m more than respectively.
