Transfermarkt: Two Milan players make top 20 in Europe for market value among U21s

AC Milan have two representatives in the top 20 most valuable players in Europe’s ‘top five’ leagues, according to a report.

According to what is reported by Transfermarkt (via Sky), Gianluigi Donnarumma is the fourth most valuable player in Europe under the age of 21 as he is worth €60m.

In front of him are Chelsea’s Kai Havertz (€81m), Atletico Madrid’s Joao Felix (€80m) and Juve’s Matthjis De Ligt (€70m).

It is worth noting that Donnarumma’s valuation is strongly influenced by his contractual situation, and that is why Maldini and Massara are working to renew his deal which expires in June 2021.

Rafael Leao is the other Milan player in the top 20 as he occupies 16th spot. The Rossoneri signed him from Lille for a little over €25m and now his value is €28m, so not a huge improvement.

Milan expected significant growth from the Portuguese forward, but luckily he is very young and has enormous potential.
