Tuttosport: AC Milan have tabled bid for playmaker but Racing Club demand more

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are continuing to press for the signing of Matias Zaracho from Racing Club in Argentina, according to the latest reports.

Gianluca Di Marzio reported towards the end of the January window that Zaracho was offered to Milan by his agent Augustin Jimenez, with the playmaker having been repeatedly linked with a move to Milan since the summer.

Argentine journalist Julian Mazzara also reported that Paolo Maldini spoke with the 21-year-old’s entourage and made an offer of €15m plus bonuses to sign Zaracho.

According to Wednesday’s edition of Tuttosport – as cited by MilanNews.it – Milan are refusing to give up on Zaracho and have, as Mazzara reported, tabled a bid of €15million to try and land him.

However, the Argentine side are playing hard ball over their prized young asset and are asking for €20million to get the deal done.

Zaracho has three goals and added one assist in 15 league games this season.
