Tuttosport: Bonaventura informs Milan of intentions over renewal; several clubs interested

By Oliver Fisher -

Giacomo Bonaventura has enjoyed a roaring return to being one of AC Milan’s protagonists, but now attentions has turned to his renewal, a report claims.

The midfielder is currently on a contract which expires in June, which means that the Rossoneri are going to have to be quick if they wish to tie him down to an extended deal, especially given reports from La Gazzetta dello Sport stating he has been offered to two rival clubs.

As reported by Tuttosport on Tuesday morning (via MilanNews.it), Bonaventura has reminded Milan what they were missing. He earned the team a point against Napoli, played a great game at Parma and scored again at Bologna on Sunday.

The paper notes that Jack wants to renew with Milan and ‘would not ask for the moon’, being aware of the fact that in the previous season he received his salary practically without taking the field due to injury.

He currently earns €2m-a-season, so now it is up to Milan to get talks rolling, with plenty of admirers watching on.
