Tuttosport: Brahim Diaz wants redemption in every sense – Milan’s stance

By Isak Möller -

Brahim Diaz failed to replicate what was a rather positive first year with AC Milan – at least the ending of it – this past season. He will have one more chance, though, as a report highlights.

After the initial season-long loan, Milan decided to negotiate a proper deal with Real Madrid and they came to an agreement for a two-year loan. The deal also includes a buy-out clause and a buy-back option, at around €22m and €27m respectively.

However, he only found the back of the net four times last season and he got the same amount of assists. Furthermore, these all came in the first half of the campaign and the disappointment is thus easy to understand.

Milan haven’t given up just yet, though, as highlighted by today’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it). Diaz needs to prove himself and if he were to succeed, it would be similar to the journey of Rafael Leao, who now is a certainty for the team. And only in that way will Milan redeem him.
