Tuttosport: Calhanoglu pressured to compromise over new deal as Man Utd resume talks

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan have more talks planned with Hakan Calhanoglu, a report claims, but Manchester United are also in talks with the playmaker.

Bild journalist Christian Falk told us exclusively earlier today that there is a ’90 per cent’ chance that Calhanoglu ends up at United before the start of next season, given that the player has already rejected Juventus and has been in advanced talks with the Red Devils since the summer.

According to reports from today’s edition of Tuttosport (via MilanNews) regarding the renewal of Hakan Calhanoglu, there will be a new meeting between the player’s agent Gordon Stipic and the Milan management in the coming weeks.

However, if the player does not lower his request of €7m per season and therefore will not move towards some kind of compromise with the Rossoneri leadership, then it seems difficult that an agreement will be found.

The paper goes on to add that United are keen on the Turkey international and there have been new contacts between his agent Gordon Stipic and their management.

You play good football for how long, 4, 5 out of over 3 years? And you ask to triple your wage? I lost respect for you, greedy

Over 3 years he played 1 good game out of 5. The salary should be reduced accordingly.

    Goodbye.
