Tuttosport: Cardinale will return to Italy for Milan’s first pre-season training

By Isak Möller -

Gerry Cardinale, the CEO and founder of RedBird, is expected in Italy for Milan’s first training session of the pre-season. It’s a special event for the American but also the Rossoneri fans.

After the fantastic 2021/22 campaign, Milan will be looking to defend the Scudetto this upcoming season and the first pre-season training could thus be very enthusiastic. And many fans are expected to be at Milanello for it.

According to today’s edition of Tuttosport (via SempreMilan.it), Cardinale is also expected to be at the training ground for the event. It will be the first ‘Raduno’, as it’s called in Italian, since the Covid-19 pandemic began.

The training session will take place on July 4th (just over two weeks until then), which is also quite a festive date back in the United States. Cardinale is expected to be in Italy, but his plans could always change between now and then.

  1. Do the needful by renewing Maldini and Massara and pump in money to secure at least 5 quality signings to retain Scudetto and win 8th Champions league

    1. Comment se fait il q’Elliot à repousser les quataris pour remettre milan à Redbird qui ne peut pas financer le mercato. Voyons ce que les Interis font sur le marché, sommes nous venir pour détruire le milan après une si belle saison.

  2. All the latest events point at sad fact that he’s stubborn moron and we actually can lose Maldini and Massara.
Why to buy a successful club if you don’t want to take it to the next level???

  3. Can’t wait, we are all so happy that he will come to the first training with 0 new transfers. Seems like Botman, Sanchez and Asensio are already lost. Next up CDK as 40M offer came, we’ll see about Lang. Just great, exactly what I expected from the US owners. I’d pay my money to replace them with Arabs.

  4. guy obviously knows nothing about soccer’s importance in Italy, wish Elliott Management was still in place, they had the “smarts” to lt let great soccer minds run soccer decisions. Inter has been the big winner here in the off season, Dybala is the one that ticks me off the most…..but regardless, Rossoneri per sempre
