Christian Pulisic has recovered from the illness which kept him from starting the big clash between AC Milan and Napoli. As such, the Rossonberi will have their ‘driving force’ back for tonight’s encounter with Monza.
Pulisic has been the best Milan player this season, without a doubt, scoring seven goals and assisting three in all competitions (12 games). Therefore, it was a big blow not to have him available from start against Napoli, only coming off the bench in the second half.
As highlighted by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), Pulisic has now recovered from the gastroenteritis and will play from start against Monza tonight. Being the ‘driving force’ of the team in attack, the American returning significantly improves Milan’s chances of winning.
In addition to him, Fonseca will also welcome back Theo Hernandez and Tijjani Reijnders, who have served their suspensions. Rafael Leao, meanwhile, will start on the bench and he’s now rather unhappy with the situation at the club.
Tonight’s game will kick off at 20:45 CET and since it’s away from home, it will be played at U-Power Stadium. Claiming all three points is absolutely crucial for Fonseca’s side, but it will certainly not be a walk in the park.
Remember when we thought one of the pros of hiring Fonseca was he would get more from Rafa, being a fellow Portuguese 😂
