In the next few days there could be decisive developments in the issues relating to the future of Joshua Zirkzee, who has been Milan’s priority for the striker role for months.
According to what is being reported by Tuttosport (via MilanNews), it is a battle between Milan and Manchester United for Zirkzee. The Rossoneri were on pole but have no intention of paying the €15m in commissions to Kia Joorabchian, who in turn is not giving any great signs of being open to a discount.
This is why Milan are apparently starting to look around for alternatives, with Feyenoord’s Santiago Gimenez among the names. Feyenoord value the Mexico international at €50m, but there seems to be some margin to negotiate that down.
The trail that leads to Romelu Lukaku remains open, but in this case there seems to still be too much distance between Milan and Chelsea in terms of what Geoffrey Moncada and his team are willing to offer and the demands of the Blues.
The Tammy Abraham hypothesis should be set aside for the moment, because even though those at Casa Milan know of the Englishman’s interest in the idea of joining the Rossoneri, he is not a profile that they consider to be a good fit.
I’d prefer this guy over anyone else except do yk and it’s a good idea to go for one of those two, because they fit paulo fonseca tactics perfectly
How is he an alternative? They’re nothing alike. You either want/need one type of st or the other.
Yup, i was thinking the same. It seems they go for who ever is avaliable rather than having a clear plan in what they are trying to build.

He was supposed to Mexico star player yet he didn’t score a goal in copa america as they were knocked out. 50m for dutch legaue striker is pure fantasy. Look at Manu after spending 100m on Antony. He looked awesome in holland but in reality he is average player. We should focus on signing a proven elite striker.
For that money I take Jonathan David + Lukaku over him to bolster our attack.
True, 50mil for someone who hasnt played in top league. Retegui is very similar to him and he was avaliable for 18mils last season.
